The devastating physical, mental, and emotional effects of child abuse persist long after maltreatment occurs and results in ongoing costs to every sector of our community. It has a negative impact on all of us.

In 2018, there were 718 verified cases of child abuse in Contra Costa County. Our goals are to:

Raise Funds.

Raise funds to donate to the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Contra Costa County (CAPC).

Get SUBS Into Schools.

Work with school administrators and educators in our county to implement Speak Up Be Safe (SUBS), CAPC’s child abuse prevention program, into every schools’ curriculum.

Raise Awareness.

Help raise awareness about the issue of child abuse and its unfortunate presence in our community.
